I agree. Often the games themselves are awful. More often than not its a piece of luck that seperates the teams. Everything else is superb, the football is rubbish!

 

Actually everything about the Derby i was at back in 2003 was great.

Pigs up 1-0 and then Blades coming back top paste them 3-1.

Brown's volley that night was worthy of winning any match anywhere in the world

yea, thats the only recent derby game i can remember that was a good game. i'm not saying there never is but alot of derbys anywhere in the world alot of the time its just stop start, tackles flying in everywhere. still wouldny miss them for the world though

Just for the Sheffield Derbys we will be having double the points for the Prediction League.

 

2 points for correct team winning

10 points for correct score and team and

10 points for predicting a draw but incorrect score and

 

20 points for predicting a draw with correct score

And sadly I might not miss this one.

Had news very early this morning that my Uncle passed away yesterday ( RIP ) and am working on getting a flight over for the funeral...Might stay till the saturday night if i can get a flight and a match ticket.

Cheers mate...Missus on phone now trying to book a flight.

Would like to come back over due to better terms though.

Was more like a brother than an Uncle and remember him taking me as a youngster to loads of Blades matches when my Dad couldn't make it.

Hoping for a Blades win for him next saturday and hope to be there to see it
