I know many don't like it but I don;t mund a trip down Eccy Rd. Starting at the Sheaf Island (best 'Spoons in town IMHO) you can get decent beer in:

Graze

Craft & Dough

Nursery

Portrer Brook

Beer House

 

then... go down Sharrow Lane to:

 

Lescar

Porter Cottage

Stag

 

and... if youre feeling brave... either head down to the Union then Broadfield or carry on to Beer Engine and into town
