The 120 bus route taking in Nether Green, Ranmoor and Broomhill actually makes a great little pub tour!

The Bull's Head has gone downhill since the days of Ray and Mary James. I would miss it out and go from the Rising Sun to the Ranmoor Inn and then to the York in Broomhill.

What's the optimum walking route for doing the various hipster beer bars and proper pubs of Heeley and Meersbrook (and maybe over to Abbeydale Rd too)?

Let's say starting at the White Lion.

Where is the tramshed? Is that the new one next to the place with the bike over the arch? Called Bhaji's or something like that?

Talking of real ale crawls, is there anything around Park, Wybourn, Manor, Norfolk Park, City Road?

All I found were keg/lager pubs.

This part of S2 is in dire need of some real ale pubs. Anyone agree?

Some of those areas just need a successful, welcoming, friendly pub that can make money and stay open. Real ale or not.
