SheShe   10 #38 Posted December 18, 2007 bottom end of the moor, opposite waitrose.  Flippin heck, I pass it twice a day going and coming from work. I even noticed this morning that there was a big crane all lit up.
 Share this content via...

samc   10 #40 Posted December 18, 2007 I know it's big but who will be living in it? The rooms are tiny and it is hardly in a brilliant location - overlooking the noisy roundabout..
 Share this content via...

MrNM Â Â 10 #42 Posted December 18, 2007 Well here we go again:loopy:. Velocity's management/workforce highjacking the forum again to try and drum up support for an even bigger monstrosity than the one given planning permission for . I would very much like to vote on your wonderfully balanced poll but, surprisingly enough, there isn't an option that says; 'concrete and glass monstrosity, knock it down.' Â You must be on drugs! Why do you live in a city?
 Share this content via...

Jimmy O Â Â 10 #45 Posted December 18, 2007 I know it's big but who will be living in it? The rooms are tiny and it is hardly in a brilliant location - overlooking the noisy roundabout.. Â But think of the view from the higher floors! I currently live on the 11th floor of a city centre apartment building and love it - I'd be very happy to move somewhere two or three times as high! rugs   10 #47 Posted December 18, 2007 We should add a "I think we should all live in mud huts" option.  Just 'Would you prefer to live in a human scale city' option would suffice thank you very much.
 Share this content via...
rugs   10 #48 Posted December 18, 2007 You must be on drugs! Why do you live in a city?  I am on drugs at the moment. How did you know? It's Ibuprofen for a bad back which I got through straining to look up at the latest pile of crap to hit the city's skyline. As to why I live in a city. I don't look at it as coldly as that. I live in Sheffield which just so happens to be a city and one that I see as being unique and different to any other city and not attempting to develop into a poor man's version of Leeds or Manchester.
