KATIEB_23 Â Â 10 #25 Posted December 18, 2007 Well here we go again:loopy:. Velocity's management/workforce highjacking the forum again to try and drum up support for an even bigger monstrosity than the one given planning permission for . I would very much like to vote on your wonderfully balanced poll but, surprisingly enough, there isn't an option that says; 'concrete and glass monstrosity, knock it down.' I don't work for Velocity so please don't insinuate that I do. I can't speak for the other posters but has it ever occured to you that lots of people like tall modern buildings, and are complimenting this building because thats their opinion?! KATIEB_23   10 #27 Posted December 18, 2007 Don't be silly, you can't have opinion round here if you disagree:hihi: Silly me! In that case, can Velocity chuck some money my way please? Could do with some extra £ this time of year!
 Share this content via...
Tricky   10 #28 Posted December 18, 2007 I don't like tall buildings at all. But if you really need to have them, that site is probably as good as any - infinitely better than the development on Arundel Gate.  It also looks far better as the 36 storey version. If you must have a phallic symbol, make it a decent sized phallus, not some stunted little thing.
 Share this content via...
JKDjam   10 #29 Posted December 18, 2007 Taller is far better!!  And I am really keen on the idea of a skybar!  The city seriously needs a face lift and this is the way forward I think. Modern and big and as mentioned, an attraction for the city. I hope they get the thumbs up to go ahead.
 Share this content via...
