Poll: Would you like to see Velocity Tower grow taller?

Well here we go again:loopy:. Velocity's management/workforce highjacking the forum again to try and drum up support for an even bigger monstrosity than the one given planning permission for .

I would very much like to vote on your wonderfully balanced poll but, surprisingly enough, there isn't an option that says; 'concrete and glass monstrosity, knock it down.'

I don't work for Velocity so please don't insinuate that I do.

I can't speak for the other posters but has it ever occured to you that lots of people like tall modern buildings, and are complimenting this building because thats their opinion?!

I don't like tall buildings at all. But if you really need to have them, that site is probably as good as any - infinitely better than the development on Arundel Gate.

 

It also looks far better as the 36 storey version. If you must have a phallic symbol, make it a decent sized phallus, not some stunted little thing.

And I am really keen on the idea of a skybar!

 

The city seriously needs a face lift and this is the way forward I think. Modern and big and as mentioned, an attraction for the city. I hope they get the thumbs up to go ahead.
