Ecclesfield 'village'

That sounds right. What were the chips like! Do you have any recollection of them or the people?

 

 

 

Mrs Hague's name was Alma. I always got on with her very well (I was their postman). The chips etc were good. They always were busy in the shop, which they had converted from a general store. I did know their son Brian. I seem to remember he worked at W F Smith on the old Ecclesfield East Station land. It's all a long time ago though.

Was it Brian Hague Nigel and did he have a sister Nigel ?
