tosh13 Â Â 11 #25 Posted December 5, 2007 a bad night for the Blades.but what a funny night for results, coventry winning at wba, norwich winning & preston, let's hope this was a freak game ,I cannot understand what's going on at the lane ,playing 4-5-1 at home, but we have Norwich away so we will probably do well. mummikins   10 #26 Posted December 5, 2007 Robson always looks bored to death - or out of his depth? Can't imagine how he could ever motivate anyone....I know someone who has socialised with him a lot and apparently he's really good company;could have fooled me.... marmite   10 #28 Posted December 5, 2007 Last night was a disaster and quite laughable really. The annoying thing was the blades actually managed to string a few passes together (by that i mean more than one long ball and a layoff)  Tonge for me was poor, yet again he started his 'head down diagonal running' where he ploughs through the center not looking where he is going and gets tackled then falls over. A few good challenges though.  When Cahill goes (which i fear he will) our season will plummit, so yes Jazzy, you are right. Im scared  Carney shouldnt have been left back, i would have preferred Armstrong fullback. either way, we didnt conceed second half (take away the positives and all that)  Not seen a game like that in along while, its embarassing and Sheffield United should be ashamed.   bloke behind me: 'Well if we're going to lose, at least kick the sh*t out of them!' This was at 25mins. Got quite a few chuckles that did.  gary speed to replace tonge??? Yes please
 Share this content via...
dinger   10 #29 Posted December 5, 2007 i walked out stright after the 3rd goal was scored in disgust and was not alone. i have never left a game early but last night i was fumming. united dont deserve to play in the championship if they are going toplay like that. 22 pound to watch that load of tripe. happyhippy   11 #30 Posted December 5, 2007 It was 2-0 by the time I got to my seat, and I was tempted to go to the pub by the third. So, even though I only saw one of the goals, I can still say that was one of the most shambolic performances I've ever seen.  It was worse than Port Vale under Heath.  Absolutely diabolical. That will make a change;been there 8 times and seen us win once.....the season we went down from the Prem 93-94.They even did the double over us in our last promotion season:mad:Great to see us with 11 men back for a corner at 3 down last night.. Robbie Loving   10 #32 Posted December 5, 2007 Great to see us with 11 men back for a corner at 3 down last night..  I don't get why we never have any men left up front when the opposition have a corner.
 Share this content via...
