Can anyone recommend somewhere in Sheffield that sells handmade chocolates.

 

Would like to get something a bit special for xmas pressies this year and not the bog standard pre-wrapped over-priced nonsense from Thorntons!

 

If anyone knows of anywhere please share, I would be very grateful!

Anise in Broomhill. Next door to Nibbles Pizza, opposite the Broomhill Tavern. Good selection of decent handmade chocs and well presented in special gift boxes. You can choose the selection and weight you require.

Theres a specialist chocolate shop on Ecclesall Rd opposite Berkley Precinct

The one on Eccie Road is called Cocoa and it is just fantastic. Have had some really nice choccies from there and they wrap them up beautifully too. They have their own hand made range and also stock hard-to-get ranges such as Roccoco. Sales assistants v friendly but not pushy. You just can't come out empty handed!

At the moment (as it's Christmas) John Lewis have a fantastic selection of hand made chocolates.

 

A bit pricey but lovely.

Cocoa everytime, the best selection of handmade chocolates and really unusual kinds of chocolate I've ever found. Whilst your there visit their Cocoa Lounge for a hot chocolate or cup of tea - a real sanctuary from the Christmas shopping.

Dont know if they have one in sheffield but here in reading there is a shop called hotel chocolate they make hand made chocolate i thinks.

There isn't a Hotel Chocolat shop in Sheffield, but they do have a very good website. They're not cheap but the choccies are amazing: http://www.hotelchocolat.co.uk/
