From Weston Park Hospital by car I'd go;

Up to Broomhill.

Turn left at the lights at the junction with Crookes down Nile Street.

Cross the next set of lights where the road crosses Glossop Road (Rutland Hotel and King Teds School on your left.

At the next lights turn right on to Clarkehouse Road passing the Botanical Gardens on your left - follow the road to Hunters Bar roundabout.

At the Roundabout turn right up Ecclesall Road South.

Follow Eccy Road uphill to the lights at Banner Cross - get in the left hand lane.

Continue up to the Prince of Wales (next set of lights) and turn left down Carterknowle Road (speed bumps all the way down the Road).

About half a mile later turn right just past the school on to Archer Road - or is it Lane? - hang on just remembered it's Bannerdale Road (more speed bumps).

Go down to the lights and cross Abbeydale Road.

Follow Archer Road as it swings to the right - continue on past Sainsburys on your right - Hutcliffe Wood is signposted up to your left.

Hope that helps.

God bless.

Moon, the above directions are spot on, but if you're going to the crematorium for a service, you need to turn off Archer Road by Laycock's Club which is on the left (Fraser Road, I think) just before Sainsbury and then take the first right by the pub, the lower entrance there takes you right up to the car park. If you get the bus, it's a fair trek from the Cemetary gates to the crematorium, allow yourself 15 minutes to walk it from there.

Yes it is the crematorium I need and I think it might be by bus, so thank you for that I can time it better now.
