Attempted murder approx 20 years ago

Can`t see any sense or reason in sarah 12`s signature but back on thread to anyone who is slightly in the know this thread and subject is retrospectively of some interest and re-kindles old smoulderings as some of the people involved in the incident at the time walked.

It was a real can of worms and was certainly a bizarre thing to happen anywhere never mind in a leafy suberb on your doorstep, very worrying.

A terrible thing to happen to any person nevermind an innocent woman caught up in what was essentially a love triangle gone wrong.

This might sound like a bizarre question, but does anyone remember an attempted murder in the Millhouses area about 15 or 20 years ago?

 

I can't remember the ins and outs of it, but I seem to recall it involving a spurned husband/boyfriend, a hitman, and a parcel that contained explosives. The victim, a lady, was maimed but not killed.

 

I've tried searching on the net, and I can't find anything at all up about it, but it was quite a high profile case.

 

Does anyone else recall this incident happening?

 

 

I remember it like it was yesterday. I was only a young lad when it happened and I was outside between the news agents and the robin hood pub when it all happened. Proper ****** my self when the bomb went off it shook the ground really bad. An amazing robot turned up with the bomb squad aswell. Crazy days!

I worked for eh middletons on a course from collage . We went n redecorated eilleens flat a couple or so weeks before the parcel bomb .her flat was burnt due to a fire being started through her letter box . We was recalled to do a touch up after we left we heard the parcel bomb had been delivered an hr later
