liberty boy   10 #182 Posted November 30, 2007 I agree theres only one band I find more boring than The Smiths/Morrisey cant stand em:gag: Having said that I quite admire him now for having the guts to stand up and say how he feels whats racist about saying there are too many immigrants coming in?  We all know its true even the government have admitted this are they racist as well:huh:  what band is that then incidentally? irenewilde   10 #183 Posted November 30, 2007 It is certainly difficult to track down those advent calenders covered in glitter which I used to look so much forward to receiving in the 1970s. Nowadays the only 'seasonal' calenders one can buy are those which contain chocolate pieces beneath each door. (I did track a proper advent calender down last year. Where from? Lincoln Cathedral!) Those airing their grievances about the decline in traditions of this country are those who have probably never stepped foot inside a church in their life. Whilst claiming Christmas is rightfully theirs, other than the fact that it's time off work, they don't give a fig about what Christmas is supposed to be about. So, it's not really fair game to say 'hands off our Christmas' when the only time we are provoked to think about the true message of Christmas is when we're stood drinking in some converted church called Walkabout. Use it....or lose it?  That's it. I'm forming the Ousetunes political party on your behalf. When I come to get the rosettes made for you what colour do you fancy? Red, blue and yellow have already gone.
 Share this content via...

Ousetunes   10 #186 Posted November 30, 2007 I found out what Morrissey will be wearing on the UK tour -  Oh no!  He's ditched the hearing aid!  And where's the gladioli?
 Share this content via...
MuteWitness   10 #187 Posted November 30, 2007 He removed the gladioli in protest of St David's Hall, Cardiff spelling his name Morrisey on the tickets.
 Share this content via...
liberty boy   10 #188 Posted November 30, 2007 Oh no! He's ditched the hearing aid!  And where's the gladioli?  His hearing aid was just an accessory he didn't have any hearing problem apparently. A bit bizarre. I suppose it was a very morriseyesque skit on these people that wear clear glasses to look intellectual.
 Share this content via...

Alex C.   10 #192 Posted November 30, 2007 Well what's the area of Doncaster that you come into when you aproach from Conisbrough - Balby? - presumably the primary school in that area is as much as i can tell you. Anyway i'm bored with this. As you all say you're not religious so why worry if Christianity is taken out of Christmas and in general your traditional culture is being debased by multi-culturalism. I should imagine most people who care will give up the ghost of arguing and being called racist and battling the same mono level brainwashed liberals and like Morrisey just leave you all to it if they can. I know i certainly shall one day.  Yes, but its not just multi-culturalism is it - its secularism as well. Its quite obvious that the less Christian and more secular the country is, the less religious and more commercial Christmas will be. Will you be going to church on Sunday by the way? if you don't mind me asking
 Share this content via...
