Aww it was great! I was on brightside bridge near meadowhall station! Got a few shots of it, there were quite a few people on there, although I wasn't surprised! Couple of really great trains there, wish I'd been on it!

Took my son and his friend down to Sheffield station to see this and must admit I did feel a little intimidated by the older ones that were down there

We went to Butterthwaite bridge thinking we'd be the only ones,

ended up about 25 others scattered about the bridge and surrounding fields,

Although not a "trainy" I enjoyed the brief pass by the train,

I was stood right over the top as it chugged its way beneath me,

 

Here's a couple of "grabs" from the camcorder,I took more with the lumix but haven't looked at them yet,

Everything turned white as I was surrounded in smoke

and within a few seconds it was gone,rounding the bend over stn road with a "WoooWooo"

I missed the planed shot at totley as it was running 14 early - the timings were a little bit generous with all that power
