caronlel   10 #1 Posted November 8, 2007 Did anyone on here ever work for Volserve at Carbrook School - the old style Keep Sheffield Warm? I was there '87-'88 and thought it was fab! It was a good laugh and everyone had a good time taking the rip out of each other. Lunchtimes were spent either in the Lambpool or the Excelsior if I remember - the latter doing the biggest chip butties I have ever seen in my life!! I drove the vans with its rolls of insulation in the back and dropped off the guys fitting, and then i'd go round door to door convincing residents to have their lofts done and then measure up. I had just passed my driving test so it was my first experience of driving! We did have a laugh playing footy at lunch breaks and I do remember the pretty girls in the office.
