hehe it was a good gig was it not.

I thought the support band were pretty terrible, if they didn't have those singers then the musicians would be decent

Ash played a good gig, I never really knew most of their stuff but I'd like to get some.

The Darkness.... come on you know they were brill. :D

Loved it when he went around on the tiger...

Totally agree with Ian. I was front standing 3rd row, dead centre! Fantastic!!

I quite liked his little dig at Band Aid :hihi: Great to hear Dont Let The Bells end as encore.

All in all 10/10.

Ash were excellent too - the flaming guitar

Do Me Bad Things - Lets pretend that never happened shall we!

Couldn't fault it - had everything a rock gig should have and more - flames, pyro-a-plenty, silver holographic catsuits and a giant inflatable priest and snarling dogs!!!

Even a Jim Diamond/Stevie Wonder mass sing-a-long!!!

Top night, Top Band - Excellent!!!!

They really are great live aren't they? Told ya! Bit disappointed there were no mosh pit at the front but the band were great. I didn't see the support bands, I was at the bar getting bladdered i'm afraid!

Went to Noose & Gibbet afterwards, top night all in all!

Ash - Fantastic live band. Seasoned veterans at the age of 27! Played a great gig at Leadmill last year.

Darkness - SOOOOOO much potential, flushed down toilet by a mixture of arrogance and lack of actual product. Their headline set at Reading Fest was woeful. Even played a song that 'they hadn't written words to yet' - ok, if it had a great riff or you could tell it was anything special then, thats fine. But it was s**t. They are original and they have a great front man in JH, but they are just missing something for me. Sorry. Maybe their arena tour is different and they are a little more prepared now.

Their new stuff wasn't very good.

Stick with the oldies and enjoy it while it lasts

Hi everyone!

I was at the darkness gig, front standing, very close to the stage, and I found the audience a bit "quiet".

It's the first concert I see in the uk... is it always like that? I mean, was that specific to this concert or is it the english way of attending a concert? people were not even jumping.. ????

but apart from that I love their music and style, the show was great and I didn't know Justin was such a phenomenon!

Heya Vero,

It's cause it's an arena gig. Arena's have a feel of emptyness for me and not as good an atmosphere as say, the leadmill if you've been there.

Don't give up on UK concerts!
