Ha, ha. I have been run into full-tilt by a small(ish) child on a number of occasions while trying to shop, causing pain to various bits of me .... perhaps I'm just particularly clumsy and don't move out of the way fast enough. I am a bit short-sighted ..... Actually, I was employing a bit of artistic licence in the interests of humour, but I'll remember not to do that again ..... StarSparkle

Although I do dream about shopping trips where there are no other customers in the shops, and I can browse to my heart's content without staff being 'helpful'. Actually, what I really enjoy about shopping is getting home with my parcels! StarSparkle PS I have thought about online shopping, but it really doesn't seem to interest me. I'm beginning to think the discomfort of shopping is part of the penance for spending the money ..... Would any one like to come into business with me an inent a pram/ pushchair with only two wheels, the amount of mothers and fathers that like to tilt the pushchair on two rear wheels pointing the child towards the sky, and ramming the front part into your legs. (thats really really really really annoying)

Sierra Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 Two or more clerks standing around, ignoring customers, letting the telephones ring and shootin' the breeze like they're at home when I'm trying to get their attention or ask for help! Or standing in a line a mile long... out the door and around the building, while everyone can hear employees in the back laughing and talking, peeping out every so often to see how long the line is! (This happened to me yesterday at the post office) Sierra
