What time does/did your child/children set off for school?

What time does/did your child/children set off for school, Was it just in time to get there for register and are they now setting off earlier.

 

WHY i hear you ask

 

Because they may be the ones asking me and every one else passing the local corner shop to go in and get them some cigs, I have had it since they put up the age to 18 to buy cigs, and now i am getting sick and tired of getting pulled over the first thing in the morning on my way to work.

Way back when I lived in walking distance of Rivelin Juniors in the early 80s, in order to get to School for 8.50 AM I'd leave about half 8 so I could walk at a steady pace and not rush.

Mine leaves at 8 to get the bus across the road, registration is at 8.40.

that is on a monday because i have to catch 2 buses across from handsworth to dore...but on a normal day, it is 7:26 for 8:55 which is 1 bus journey which is AWFUL

i would have gone to 6th form closer to my home but i have always gone to the school i go to because we used to live closer :/

7:40 to get there for registration @ 8:35. Mind you, that's via the breakfast club for a sausage sandwich...... did we ever have a breakfast club? or sausage sandwiches?
