Recommended Posts

Had fishcake and chips today from tonys at mosbro, and to be honest, our local crow had them, not good. They used to be the best for miles but my last 2 lots have been poor , how can you get chips wrong?,soggy limp yet as they came out of the pan they looked fine i wonder if they swet in the plastic bag what a shame

Yes I agree people rave about Tony's but I've always found it average often greasy and very small portion! I never really rated it when tony owned it all them years ago! Each to their own thought.

New potatoes will be used at the moment. They will be soggy. I am experiencing the same problem in my chippy at the moment.

Its the one that was Tony's Daughters and was previously in Castle Market

It closed a few months ago ,and I wondered if it had reopened elsewhere?

If your the chippy in whitwell and I'm only guessing I've recently been in a couple of times they are good fish and chip

I actually like chips made with new spuds a little smaller than normal but tasty
