Hurlfield School - any ex pupils?

I think i left in 83 or 84, did my A levels in the 6th form, I was known as a Headford then, Had a younger brother called Adrian and younger sister called Ennis

I went to Hurfield Boys School from 1961 to 1966

 

I remember Mr Machin the sports teacher not a very nice man:rant:

 

After we left they joined the boys & girls school together,they obviously didn't trust us boys back then:hihi:

No one liked Bill machin, evil sod.

Some of rest were OK though.

Remember Len Egerton, Headteacher? Great guy.

Who was in your class?

Sorry, 'bleeper' doesn't ring any bells, I'm a bit better with faces. but not much, too much drink since leaving school. Caronlel will tell us If I know you, she has a better memory than me.

The only reason I remembered so many teachers is because I had my old school reports in front of me.

As I recall Graham and some others pushed one of the teachers cars into the middle of the rugby pitch.

G,day phil if my mind is correct the teachers name was a Mr Greenhough ( geography ) and his car was a mini and it was pushed into the sand pit and some twit put sand in the tank. Revenge was sweet.

Hi Appolo I was there 61 to 66 and they had just started building the new part of the school in 66 and I think it was near the gym. I am amazed no one has named Mr Kirk or Kirky the music and some of the stories he would tell us.
