I encounter quite a lot of this language and the quickest way to get them to curtail it is to rip the mick out of it, For instance.

 

"Is this ride my mans?

"Nah - It's next mans"

"Man are gangsta for dat"

 

Trust me - Nothing like having stuffy adults saying it to make them realise how bloody ridiculous they sound :D

One of the ugliest and most irritating 'accents' I have ever heard and natural to no area of the UK so it is like being an actor 24 -7, bizarre. I am guessing that as maturity and the realisation that no employer will touch them and the dreams of being a DJ/pimp fade then so will the stupid speak.

My one bug bear is the use of the 'word' innit at the end of every other sentence :rant::rant:
