The all things BNP thread.

Recommended Posts

If you're actually from Ireland then you'll know it's true. If you're a plastic paddy, then go read up on racist viollent attacks in both the Republic and Ulster. It's not my job to educate people who promote both Irish Nationalism and racial tollerance that those two objectives fail spectacularly to meet in the middle.

Where do I promote Irish nationalism? My signature simply means "Forever Ireland" in my homeland's tongue. The fact that it was used, along with many other phrases by a paramilitary organisation isn't my fault.

Please also remember that there are three counties of Ulster in the Republic.

Racial, and religious tolerance is now clearly happening, but the problems are still in the Occupied part of the island. Thankfully, the problems have been lessened so much.

So, proof?

It is such a tragedy we shot James Connolly.

Who indeed, although in the forefront of the independence movement, like many others, wasn't a practicing Catholic.

Simply a proud man of Irish descent.

Any idea why the BNP have bought a piece of Croatia ? it seems strange for nationalists to be buying land abroad? I wonder if it is for a holiday destination, will it be called Butlitz?

Wasn't Franje Tudjman, first president of Croatia, a fervent fascist?

To be fair, the Civil Service has always asked that people keep their political activities away from work, whether right or left wing.

ANYTHING, which someone does as a Civil Servant which 'could bring the Civil Service into disrepute', could land someone on a disciplinary. That could even include being drunk.

I will say though, with managers there has usually been a sway to allow more left wing opinion. I do think though, that that's because the more right wing opinions can be more abrasive, if not offensive to many.

Well I think any blanket ban on BNP members is unfair. I was discussing this with my brother who said he understood why BNP members were banned from the prison service. But then again he is referring to his perception of BNP members as created by the media. I think your actual conduct on the job should be the only thing that matters. Or else the government can make some argument to bar BNP members from practically every employment. We've had the argument BNP members should not be allowed in jobs in which there is contact with public records because they'll abuse their position to find out information that they might release to the public. We've had BNP members should not be allowed to be firemen, ditto teachers. We've even had a BNP member sacked from driving a disabled children's bus. Now we've had Roy sacked form being a store detective. We've even had a a campaign to sack a BNP ballerina- who was outed by an undercover Guardian reporter . If this were thirties Germany and this was the treatment being dished out to jewish people or socialists, we've all agree how horrendous it was. But the fact is it's not nazi germany stalin's russa or macarthyite America. This is today in what is supposed to be the country which claims to be the mother of democracy.

I agree with you really. One's political views, left, right, or centre should have no bearing on your position, and so long as you carry out your duties correctly, and fairly, then it shouldn't matter a jot.

Why?

Shooting communist Scots who commit treason (on behelf of the micks or their own account) seems something we need more of rather than less of in these days of rebellion north of the border.

People who think it's wrong how BNP members are treated but think well "I'm not in the bNP so why should I care too much?". Should bear in mind what happened in the eighties when white people in government and local authority jobs were afraid of thier shadows when it came to being accused of racism. Indeed you were accused of racism and sacked from looney Labour councils or hounded at work if you so much as questioned their positive discrimination policy or in one famous case so much as yawned in a room when a black man happened to be speaking. Once the BNP is out of the way they'rd love to bring those days back.

well yes thanks don't forget after all said and done, the BNP is a lawful party.

The Labour party concede this and say "well we allow them to stand in elections don't we?"

Even if that were true and it isn't totally so, given that Government supporters and the police are encouraged to disrupt BNP meetings and electioneering, it still isn't sufficient for democracy- if it's members aren't allowed to work and earn a living.

Right. Let's get this straight. Are you just a moronic troll, or just a nasty piece of work?

Or perhaps both?

Aside from that, firstly, will you kindly stop using derogatory terms to define me and my fellow countrymen. It hardly promotes you as a bastion of tolerance, and I'm sure as someone who appears to follow the fluffy BNP line, you'd like to be.

Secondly, effectively inciting murder isn't a way of garnering public support, or even converting people to the ideology to which you so tenaciously subscribe.

Thirdly, would you kindly lend your intelligence in answering the questions I've asked?

Fourthly, on a similar line, you clearly have more knowledge than me, so kindly tell me all about the havoc wreaked by the Irish on Irish soil?

reassuring as that may sound to you even you will recognise that the membership figure is an underestimation of the party's strength. The labour government has spoken of baning BNP members form all civil service jobs. Whilst members that are etachers etc have problems.

And isn't that because the BNP are an out and out racist party with a vast amount of openly racist members whos views are intolerable to the vast amount of the British people who don't vote for you.

Yours is a party of hatred and intolerence and no matter how well Griffin lies to you and the rest of the party membership, you are in trouble.

If James Lloyd loses his seat this week for not attending a council meeting for 6 months you will be down to 47 councillers.

This was supposed to be the BNP breakthrough year and in vast majority of the bye elections you have fought since the May elections (where you were expecting 80 to 100 gains) your percentage vote has slipped back. (incomparison to the same seats fought in May)

This at a time of a very damaged Labour leadership and government, Ravey Davey leading a Tory party that still hasn't really got over the splits of the last 15 years and Ming and the Liberals who sound like a really bad covers band.

I bet many people in the BNP who do know how close to bankrupcy the party is are glad that Gordon Brown bottled it as there's very little money in the coffers to fight a general election.

I enjoyed this quote from earlier this year from a former BNP organiser and counciller:-

So how is the British National Party being run ? There is a genuine need for a Nationalist Party in Britain. In my opinion Nick Griffin who is a fantastic (self) publicist and orator, runs the party as a private family business - in doing so it is also necessary to appoint dubiously moral lieutenants to keep it like that . It is a money based not ideologically based operation . As such it is necessary to periodically purge the party of thinkers and those who are capable of critical thought to keep it like that.

Could you explain the Gold Membership scheme to me please, as I understand it, you pay to be a member but cannot vote in things like leadership elections, on policy ect but if you give more money you become a gold member and get a shiney gold badge and you can vote and help make policy.

How democratic do you feel this policy is ?.

-the vast majority??? among whom according to the latest Searchlight article on their website one quarter of londoners have said they are considering voting for the BNP. Taken in terms of white londoners- (although it's not out of the question that no ethnic minorities would conisder voting BNP) that constitutes practically fifty percent of the population. How can you therefore justify persecution of BNP members based on oyur assertion that the BNP views are intolerable to the vast majority of people?

I agree. The problem is when aspects of the politics get into how someone performs their tasks.

For an extreme example, look at the 'Nine O'Clock News' sketch from over 25 years ago involving (I think) Rowan Atkinson and Griff Rhys-Jones, where arrests were made because of "an offensive wife, and wearing a loud shirt in a built up area".

There are people I used to work with on front line in a jobcentre with whom I'd never want to breathe the same air outside of work, let alone have a beer with because of their attitude, let alone beliefs, but who never let that get in the way of actually doing their job.

If you are known to be a member of an 'extreme' party, right or left, it could put the employer in a difficult position.

That, however, is a matter for Employment Law, and not our conjecture.
