Not really no. I would say more he's endeavouring not to perpetuate the stereotype which connects some black men in some people's eyes with physicality and thuggishness.

I think Leviathon is just stating a commonly held perception. Certainly there is a disproportionate number of BNP Councillors who don't bother with their official duties. And there are a disproportionate number of thugs in the BNP. I could list them but there are plenty of lists around, some info from the BBC website.

 

From the evidence on this forum over the last few days, it is rather obvious fact that BNP members tend to be messed up nasty people, that no sane employer would want to employ anyway. We have had Sandie laying in to MeltheBel on his thread, winning the record (at least since I have been here) for insulting the largest number of minorities in one post, we have had Nationalist posting porn hate mail to Halibut and we have Angle playing down the holocaust as just some of the more notable examples.

 

The BNP's attempts to win votes on this forum has been a total farce.

 

A commonly held misconception maybe, as for BNP members being messed up nasty people on here, can you prove that those that say they are BNP members actually are? its simple to set yourself up a username and start posting whatever you want, its a tactic used on many a forum.

A Tipton BNP councillor has been kicked off Sandwell Council for failing to attend a single authority meeting in the last six months.

 

James Lloyd, who represented the Princes End ward, has been disqualified as a result of his absence and failing to explain why.

 

The councillor, first elected in 2004, was sent a letter from the authority’s chief executive Allison Fraser yesterday informing him of the decision.

 

In her letter, Dr Fraser said: “You last attended a meeting of the authority on April 12, 2007 when you were recorded as being in attendance at a meeting of the Employment Appeals Panel.

 

“During six months you have not provided reasons for your failure to attend and have not sought approval from the authority. You have now ceased to be a member of the authority.”

A Muslim who stood as a Halifax election candidate and who failed to declare his criminal record has appeared in Bradford Crown Court today. Sajid Mehmood, 36, of Saxon Street, Halifax, admitted making a false statement on nomination papers.

 

He stood for the Respect Party in Park Ward, Halifax, in the local council elections in May. Sentencing was deferred until November 23rd.

 

Under the Representation of the People Act, anyone given a prison sentence of three months or more, even if it is suspended, is disqualified from standing for election for five years.

 

In 2003, Mehmood was sentenced to three months in jail for possession of heroin and cocaine. He was also convicted of driving offences and received four months in prison in 2004 and another 16 weeks in 2005.

 

In August, the High Court refused to order a re-run of the election in Park ward after former Conservative councillor Mohammed Chaudhary Saghir petitioned the court for the result to be declared void.

Of course we can. My 2 examples were however topical, the BNP Councillor lost his job this week and the Wife Beater BNP Councillor who retains his job and party membership lost his appeal less than a month ago. If we are to go back to 2003 I have pages of examples of BNP councillors and organisers wrong doings and criminal behaviour.

What was established was that black gansters unlike white gansters tend to stick together in a sort of racial fellowship. So if Nick Griffin did employ a black body guard, there's no guarantee that bodyguard would protect him from a black thug. One BNP canvasser in London going from door to door was finding that the people he called on were giving him different stories to collect that he could then regurgitate to people at other doors he knocked at. One of them was that of a black retail security guard who when told some black youths were shoplifting in his store said "what do you want me to do about it?"

Who said it was .I'm simply suggesting that we do have problem of a gun toting black criminal element in Sheffield which if they're anything like the type of gangs associated with other cities like London, Birmingham and Manchester and to a lesser extent leeds, are generally associated with a culture of fear. Hence I don't want anyone on this baord to become a target.least of all the mods, in case they're held responisble by the thugs for allowing discussion of black criminlity on their boards.
