Car Meet Saturday night?

Coming off J34 last night, I was caught up in the largest amount of chav mobiles I had ever seen - I know thought I, the SF will know what was going on.

 

There police were out in force, along with the chopper.

 

So what was it and where?

They in a way didn't cus the Nova was called the Opal Corsa on the continent, and when the shape was updated they simply used opportunity to bring it's name into line with the Europeans as well.

when it said car meet i thought it was going to be about dogging but a discussion on the finer points of of the vauxhall nova is much more of a turn on!

Shame these car cruises have such a bad name. The majority of those on Saturday night had some nice cars, and modifications. People who have spent time and money on the car. Petrol heads I know, but its only the few chavs that spoil it for the honest car modifier.

 

Police were having none of it on Saturday night. When I spoke to a few they told me they had come from all over the North. Thats commitment, just to get moved on from town to town. I believe they were in Rotherham before they got to J34.

I'm no petrol head, but some of the cars were pretty cool, even I admit it lol

 

my boys would have loved to have had a gander, esp. my 4 yr old, but they were both asleep in the back and missed it all lol.

 

I did have a corsa, way back in the day, like hot knife thru butter

Quite a few in Rotherham as well Saturday night.

 

Some nice Skylines but other than that 1 litre corsas with 6 " jap exhausts.

 

Probably a meet of "my tail is tiny but my exhausts bigger than yours" type people.
