How does that work then I've never heard of them and I'm curious now.

They have the pop up sunshades - basically a tent with a side missing - in decathlon, if that is what you mean? 20 IIRC.

no, but I have one of the shade things in the boot of the car - it's basically a two man tent with three sides, folds into a circle about 15 inches across I suppose.

just for you, Tapir:

They only had orange ones in Sheffield when I got mine. And it looks like they're 22 inches across. Doesn't seem that big.

I love the pop up idea. The 22" does seem a little restrictive however as it would only accomodate one of other halfs bum cheeks.

That's the diameter when it's folded. The floor space is 110cm by 145cm.

43" x 57".....That is borderline then for the bum cheeks!

How's that work then?

A beach mat is flat. I usually roll or fold mine up.

Sorry to be a bit simply, but why not take a towel. It rolls up nice and small and flicks out in seconds.

Try reading the O/P again. It clearly states beach mat. It is the thread that has taken us down the shelter path.

The OP also clearly states "pop up".

Since mats are flat, and don't pop anywhere, and since the OP also mentioned pop up tents, it's a fair assumption that what they are actually looking for is a pop up shelter with integral mat, like the ones on the linky to Decathlon.

On the other had, you can get self inflating sleeping maps (see here) which could reasonably count as "pop up" mats.

Perhaps we should wait for the OP to clarify what they meant.
