Leeds how to reach Metropolitan University, Headingley Campus

Hi friends,

I have to visit Leeds Metropolitan University, Headingley Campus on saturday and dont know which one would be the best way to reach this place from sheffield railway station. I dont have my own vehicle so would be travelling by train.

So could someone please help me how to reach 'Leeds Metropolitan University, Headingley Campus, Leeds, LS6 3QJ.' at earliest before 8.30 AM and conviniently?

but its not leeds university, its Headingley Campus

Well, a train's not going to take you to the doorstep of the campus, so get a train to Leeds then a taxi to campus?

ok but how far is this from leeds train station? how long if I took taxy and if took public transport.

On thetrainline.com, I can see the train station @ Headingley. Any idea from here??

Do you know the post code for the campus? Use google maps for the directions, it'll give an estimated distance and time that'll help you judge the taxi.

i am cnfused now....is Leeds Metropolitan University only one in leeds or Headingley Campus is different one?

A campus is a location within a university. Universities have several campuses in the city that specialise in different subjects.

so in this map, point number 10 is correct one?

That wouldn't take you very close. Look where the inner ring road is on the Metro map there where it is on the University Campuses and Accomation map (the link I gave above, scroll down to the third page.)

However, if you scroll down the second to last page, there's a text description of how to get there from the city, so if you're fine walking the rest of it, print off the maps, take the description, and you should be fine.
