Metcheck vs BBC weather

Recommended Posts

I once heard a meteorologist on the radio explaining that it's impossible to forecast UK weather further away than 2 days with any accuracy. One would expect the forecasts to converge a bit for the next day or 2 but be more divergent after that.

that’s why they call it a forecast :)

I use the 10 day forecast as a rough guide to make sure I’m prepared with antifreeze and appropriate winter clothing, but I don’t trigger DEFCON 1 unless the next morning is showing snow.

I agree. I miss Twirler on here. Hope he/she is ok.

We never had the summer forecast thunderstorms unless Twirler had forecast them.
