R.I.P Mark E Smith

I grew up with The Fall and MES. He was never a lovable person but The Fall were just such a powerful entity, proper band, real lyrics. I'm from Salford and lived in Prestwich so he is also local to me.

I think I'd have hated to go for a drink with him because I'd have ended up slaughtered somewhere.

An example of someone whose genius may overlook what a git he really might have been. I don't care.....I'm just playing The Fall all night long
