Sheffield Beer & Cider Festival 2017

Who`s going? Not seen a beer list yet but should be another good event.

Beer list is likely to be posted on Monday once deliveries arrive and beers are confirmed as on site.

Lists will be split up into:

Cask, keykeg, world beers (bottle/can) and cider/Perry

Planning on doing the Friday night, probably stick to the world and keg bars

I hope there will be proper, no-nonsense half pint glasses this year (as at, e.g., Barrow Hill...a good strong festival glass). Sheffield for the last couple of years has provided thin goblet-type things which just isn't what many of us look for at a traditional fest...

I prefer the stemmed glasses to the standard half glass. Last year they had a choice of a stemmed half or a straight pint pot. In fact, my 2016 glass broke in the dishwasher last week, so I'm ready for a new one

Actually should be sooner, a few tweaks to the website currently being worked on then it will go live

These are Keykegs, they only contain Good CO2 not Bad CO2

Bearded Lady, tickle monster, maybe one more psi, bloom, black strap bourbon and whatever the kernel pale is

BBN Cuvee is superb. I'll also be heading for the Chorlton Toffee Apple sour, the Lines Lemon Strawberry, and the Fourpure Peach Tea.

Personally won't be bothering with the Abbeydale, but that's purely cos I'll get them in local pubs, there's some really interesting beers there

Still nothing remotely resembling the sweet dark brew that refreshes "Jakeys" throughout Scotland.
