Dan_Ashcroft   10 #4 Posted October 25, 2011 (edited) Not quite up there with Hillsborough Hotel or Barrack Tavern, but miles better than anything in Hillsborough centre.  More a residential sort of pub - snooker, quiz nights, food and dogs etc. Has a heated decked outside area. Has TVs but no Sky Sports. Ale ok but not a big selection. Owners and locals generally friendly. retrogo   10 #9 Posted October 25, 2011 There is nothing wrong with the Castle at all. Not one of my regulars, but we do call in occaisionally. The DJ tries to make everyones ears bleed with the music, but thats what the regulars want.
 Share this content via...

charlie10 Â Â 10 #12 Posted October 26, 2011 Its our nearest pub & we rarely go in it. If it didn't have crap music blaring out & served a few real ales we might go more often.
 Share this content via...
