powerhaus   10 #1 Posted October 22, 2011 Signs of life in Kumquat Mae on Abbeydale Road: people, lights, paint pots. Anyone know who's taken it over and if it's still going to be a restaurant/veggie restaurant?
 Share this content via...
jemson   10 #2 Posted October 23, 2011 Wow. It`s been empty for 3 (?) years. Hope it`ll be a veggie place but really don`t think that `ll happen. It`s no longer as fashionable.
 Share this content via...
Lady Star   10 #3 Posted October 23, 2011 Really??? Two years ago I applied to rent the place, but the letting agents in Leeds wouldn't get themselves over to show me around, and I wouldn't rent 'blind'... I was going to run a coffee/music place there myself... The rent is ridiculously cheap, so good luck to those who managed to get in there to have a look, and rent it! powerhaus   10 #4 Posted October 23, 2011 Guess it might've been the letting agents doing it up in order to make it more attractive to businesses as it's been empty for so long. Must admit, I'd love a stylish yet affordable veggie place although maybe that's business babble. Coffee (cake) and music sound good too.
