La Mama - what's on in October..

We have some great live music entertainment lined up this month for your pleasure.

October 5th - Mojito - after making an exciting debut at La Mama last month Mojito return. One of the UK's most vibrant and energetic Cuban Salsa bands who mix traditional Cuban musical elements with more contemporary sounds, Mojito will perform this evening as a duo, performing bass and piano.

October 12th - Paul Newman - wonderfully talented local singer/guitarist who regularly entertains us with an impressive repertoire overflowing with Latin & Jazz classics, Bossa Nova, Cuban Son and songs from the last century.

October 19th - Mike Tinker - entertainer extraordinaire, Mike never fails to get your foot tapping and your ears listening with his original take on the Blues/Americana/Jazz sound. Mike is proving to be ever popular at La Mama.

October 29th - A surprise special guest this Saturday evening for our 2nd birthday party. News to follow...Feliz Cumpleaños!

It is indeed our 2nd birthday anniversary at the end of this month. To celebrate this wonderful occasion we will be holding a special fiesta on Saturday October 29th with a surprise guest providing musical entertainment. Further news to follow very soon.

The annual Eat Sheffield Food and Restaurant awards is nearly drawing to a close. We are pleased to be participating this year. If you've enjoyed a recent visit to La Mama please vote for us HERE.

Our special guest for our 2nd anniversary on Saturday October 29th will be July Julay. A fantastic Latin vocalist who entertained us for Chilean Independence day, July really is a great performer!
