How much are you willing to spend? You have a large frame or a small frame?

Maybe £300/£400?

I've done weights for years and am quite broad.

In more of an athletic way than like a bodybuilder.

You could get a nice DKNY or Paul Smith suit for that price. I have one and it's really good quality. You would have to travel to Manchester however and get it at the DKNY store on King Street or Paul Smith at Selfridges / Harvey Nichs. I've also got two Armani Collezioni suits and although they're a bit more expensive they are beautifully tailored. Just get the best you can afford, there's nothing worse in business than a cheap suit!

There's a good shop that sells Mulberry clothes on Ecclesall Rd. Not sure what it's called though - I believe it's near the Aga shop. It's only an hour to Manchester - and remember you'll want to keep the suit a long time.....

Yeah i'm always willing to spend money for quality.

It's not getting over to Manchester, it's just if alterations need to be made resulting in a return trip.

I would recommend the Hugo Boss shop in Meadowhall if you are after a suit.

I'm pretty sure Limeys in the city centre (Chapel Walk) sells designer suits.

Appreciate that you are in a hurry so this option isn't open to you this time but consider getting a suit made for you next time.

Try Barney Goodman on Ecclesall Road, proper tailors who will make something that fits your broad frame, uses wonderful materials and will last a very long time.

The cost ? - you can get a quality piece of cloth for £400. A bargain in my opinion for something hand made and unique to you.

No connection with BG just been a very happy customer for the last ten years.

You can get Paul Smith suits in House Of Fraser in Meadowhall, and I agree they are very well made suits. There is also the Hugo Boss shop next to HOF, they do a nice suit, but a bit "older" in style.
