Ridgewalk   99 #4 Posted September 29, 2017 sounds a bit like sour grapes cant knock them at moment there playing well and doing what is needed to win  Yes but listening to fans of clubs we've beaten they've all said that their team had an "off Day" " were shocking" " couldn't play as bad again " Etc  I think we must have been lucky ! Hotmale 1954 Â Â 201 #6 Posted September 29, 2017 Don't know really. Wednesday got 2 against them, and we only score 2 against the very worst teams, so maybe you were a tad unlucky last Sunday. We're punching the air like madmen if we get one, so to get 2, whilst playing garbage was brilliant for us.
 Share this content via...
Antone   10 #7 Posted September 29, 2017 Better teams make good teams look like they're having an off day. It's all about pressure, forcing mistakes.
 Share this content via...

Bash Street   10 #9 Posted September 30, 2017 I read this section quite often but seldom post because of juvenile threads like this. Uniteds got off to a great start, not sure where they are at the moment (maybe top 2) so it's fair play to the club manager and players, always better just to bask in the glory and be proud by all means. Not sure what the OP is trying to prove really. It's about time the mods cleaned this section of the trollers so proper footy fans who want to debate without descending into childlike insults (from both sides) can get on with the serious business of discussing our clubs without the oneupmanship all the time, it really is tedious. POUNDSWORTH Â Â 12 #11 Posted September 30, 2017 (edited) Some Owls are still hurting, the pre derby comments on another thread are comical, the claims United have had some luck,(every team does). Seems to forget the at Boro, injuries to half our strike force too... Â its said you create your own luck, but from the games i have been too and seen on tv, United have played with passion, 100% effort , as a team and with hell of a lot of skill and confidence. Â Confidence as shown even by the younger members of the squad, skills shown from the back to the striker, Duffy, Brookes and Clarke examples. The skills shown against Wolves in awful conditions a prime example. Â Many members saw for themselves the gulf between the two Sheffield teams last week. A surprise yes (even to us Blades) .. Â The Owls trying to deflect from our form, position and commitment really need to have a look at them selves and their club. Â A more humble approach rather than the massive egos many Owls seem to portray , may bring a little more reality to the Owls plight, players who wont play, wont take penaltys and a manager who cares little for the derby, his media profile , even the Owl fans hurt.
