The Nags Head Inn - High Bradfield

Has anyone been recently and if so, would you recommend eating there?

We've never been before but it gets good reviews on Trip Advisor and fancied trying somewhere new.

The Nags Head is actually in Loxley not in High Bradfield and is to be found about half a mile before Damflask Reservoir. It is a free house owned by Bradfield Brewery and serves top quality Bradfield beers at £2 a pint. My favourite meal there is the steak and ale pie with big proper chips, peas and gravy which comes with a free pint. I think it's about £7. Well worth a visit.

They sell my favourite ale Bradfield IPA,not many have it.

I've had a good sunday lunch at the nags head and the pie and a pint is a good deal.

Yes it's very good value pub food and good beer. If you go around November time they have the Belgian Blue ale, only available between Nov and Feb usually. Very nice indeed.

My favourite is Sixer.

The large pie and a pint deal is superb value too.
