Recommended Posts

if this is true and it is being reported in all media, we got a mist and no inclination of where it has come from, God help us.

Of course not. It could be a small company had some sort of chemical whoopsy daisy, and hoped nobody noticed.

not yet, it's only been a few hours . . . let's see what any investigations turn up.

In the meantime, I'm as much a fan of a good old-fashioned conspiracy theory as the next tinfoil-wearing fruitcake :)

What do you think ?

Chemical weapons released from a boat offshore ?? :o

So they don't get a massive fine and the business closed down!

On the other hand, it's a bank holiday - there might not be anybody there to see the problem. It might not register on a smoke alarm. Somebody might roll in on Tuesday morning and go "oh crumbs we've had a chemical leak!"

For all I know as it's dispersed there may not even be much evidence come Tuesday morning. It's a bit early to be looking for conspiracies.

Calm down and chillax, it's not the end of world. A few people got a sore throat and eyes, a few people threw up.

we need to build a wall to keep out the toxic mist.

A big wall.

A big, beautiful wall.

I know some Polish builders that could do it cheaply.
