Saturday Lunch Recommendations

Got a kid free Saturday this weekend so we're having a trip to the city centre, looking for somewhere to go for lunch, I know the centre is a bit limited but wondered if anybody could recommend where to go.

The Rutland arms on Brown Street.

A bit scruffy and mostly knocks out chip butties and the like.

But the guy that runs the kitchen has a specials board with really good stuff on it. Where he is allowed creative free reign.

Its like higher end restaurant meals at pub grub prices.

I have eaten in the Rutland a few times and always enjoyed it, we ended up going to The Old House on Division St the food was good but the service was a little odd and a mistake led to us getting 50% off the bill.

Second recommendation for this place tonight, but, Vero Gusto is a lovely Italian place just off Fargate...
