"Cat 2 Response Vehicle" - Police?

Recommended Posts

We've just had a "Cat 2 Response Vehicle" down our street. I assume it was a police vehicle, but, I didn't see any "Police" written on it (it did shoot past fairly quick though!) It was Red and Silver checked, and had blue lights and sirens on.

Anyone know what one of these is? I've never seen one before, and Google brought up some Anti IED armoured vehicles that the US Marines use!

Excellent! Cheers port3421.

That would explain why they were looking around the field down the back of the houses near the Bowden Woods.

I DO NOT WORK FOR SYFRS, but have knowledge of their fleet.

Its a "Small fire vehicle" based at Mosborough and Edlington as far as I am aware. Currently a trial. Used for bin fires, minor grass fires, car fires etc to help keep main front line appliances available for incident.

Hope this helps.
