Expect beautiful ballads right through to burning Be-Bop; meaningful Mainstream to mad Modal; furious Funk to the frightfully Free; lively Latin to luscious Lounge; and classic Cool through to the curiously Contemporary!  8.30pm, free entry.Tuesday 18th September: The Lowdown Low key, lo-fi acoustic session hosted by Rob Lowdon, a performer in his own right and also a member of Sheffield folk legends Treebeard and Jabberwocky. All styles, all welcome.  8.30pm, free entry  Wednesday 19th September: Quiz Night The highly irreverent Quiz is every Wednesday at The White. Hosted by the inimitable Mr Bling, you and your team must overcome 3 rounds of general knowledge, an audio round and a picture round in order to claim the prize.  Throw into the mix some random challenges, spot prizes, lashings of real ale and a completely free buffet with veggie, vegan and gluten-free options and you're onto a winner.  9pm, 50p entry Thursday 20th September: Jam Night Hosted by Sheffield legend Chris Firminger and backed by his regular house band The TwoJays, this evening provides a platform for musicians from all over Sheffield and further afield.  Renowned for the musicians it attracts, the Thursday Jam sees regular attendance and performance from the likes of Thor, Julian Jones, The Carnival, Open Jaw Fayre, The Crashers, Grave Danger, Fahrenheit, Vamp and many more.  Full backline and P.A. provided, come watch or join in.  8.30pm, free entry  Friday 21st September: Mahogany Newt Quite simply one of the best live bands on the circuit - if you've not seen them then you need to and if you already have then know you're in for another treat.  Classic rock and more par excellence.  9.30pm, free entry  Saturday 22nd September: The Tripdown Project The TripDown Project are an Alternative Rock Band from the North of England. Epic melodies , loud Guitars, thundering drums and technology add a modern twist to the classic rock trio!  Influences: Biffy Clyro, Muse, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, The Beatles, Supergrass, Incubus, 70s rock, the list goes on..........  9.30pm, free entry  Sunday 23rd September: The Sunday Jam Session The Sunday afternoon rock jam is back once again - 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month.
