despritdan   241 #1 Posted October 1, 2018 This was overshadowed by 'Bodyguard' because they were both on at the same time on Sunday evenings, but thanks to iplayer and ITV Hub, I've been able to watch them both. The dialogue has been altered for a modern audience, Dobbin is better looking than his description in the book and Becky's affair with Lord Steyne which was only hinted at in the novel is more explicit, but overall, I think it's excellent.
