Fallen tree blocking Normanton Hill

Just a heads up, there's a huge tree laid across the road blocking Normanton Hill off (top end), a car appears to be trapped under it. Just seen a fire engine which I suspect may be headed there.

Are there any updates on this?

Last thing I saw on Facebook was that the people in the car were out and fine. I’m not aware of the road being clear, can’t inagine it’d be quick.

according to twitter, 56 bus is diverting because of a fallen tree on wybourn.

I saw this just after it had happened. I was a few cars behind it, and had to turn around. The fire brigade hadn't arrived by then.

Delays again, this time a crash at the lights halfway down. Someone looks a little hurt but I don't think they're too bad.
