The Poverty Alliance..e mail

Has anyone else received an e mail purportedly from this organisation threatening legal action over an overdue invoice.

This is yet another scam and the proper site for this real organisation is aware of it and advises the e mail be trashed without opening any attachments.

Un fortunately I found this after trying to open the attached word document...which didn’t open.

Hopefully no damage done.

Why would you ever open an attachment in an unexpected email... It's like computer security 101.

I'd get a virus check done on your computer ASAP. Chances are you've got some malware (or similar) after opening that document.

Yeah ....stupid thoughtless curiosity,doing my daily read of messages on my I pad.

Which I don’t use for anything other than googling and messaging.

Would Chuck Norris have done it?

He'd have deleted the email so forcefully that the person who sent it got a nose bleed.

If you opened a word doc attachment on an iphone then you might have got away without a virus as it was probably targeted at the windows pc.
