Bolton vs Blades 25/08/18

It's amazing what an impact one player can have. Norwood's introduction seems to have raised the bar for what's expected of the players in terms of quality and they've risen to the challenge. It's a shame that it's taken nearly a year to find a player capable of filling Coutts' shoes, just as he's on the brink of coming back. If Wilder wants to play both of them, he'll probably have to switch to 4:4:2 as it would be a mistake to drop Fleck or Duffy or play a solo striker which I'd hate, as it would be a reminder of what we had to endure under Nigel Clough.

Norwood has certainly made a difference he is just what was needed in mid field providing that link that was missing between mid field and the forwards. Also we have now got a player who can take a decent corner.Fleck had his best game so far this season he dictated mid field. We looked really good and it was the best performance from the team for some time but we still missed chances it should have been five really but having said that I would have been happy with a point before the game.Strangely Clarke had a good game but he did his best bits in defence which sounds odd but it was true.Duffy made such a difference to but he always has done a pity he is not 25 years old.

Good game, good result, and traffic on my side for once, making it back home in good time.

Too many contenders for man of the match.

If we play like that every week, we will be fine.

If we can stuff Villa on Saturday, the dream will be on.

«* ...will be fine*» in what sense*? A top six push, or avoiding relegation ?

Is we can hold on to the likes of Fleck and O Connell ( spelling), the future looks bright

It is reported in the Mail that Flecks goal involved more passes in the build up than any other goal in the Championship this year. Just shows you that we do not play the long ball game being on the front foot just good attacking footy the way it should be played providing great entertainment .It is a great style to watch and long may it continue. Thanks Chris no wonder the gates are on the way up .Good affordable football for the fans.

In the sense of bettering our finishing position last year and having a crack at the top six.

Norwood is absolute quality, a great signing, as is Henderson in goal.

And to think a small minority was on Hendo's back after 2 games.

Strange innit.

A couple of weeks later and he's fast becoming a Blades legend with the Kop, with the way he celebrates our goals
