BBC and the menopause

Recommended Posts

My son says that no one has ever died from the menopause!

I reckon that many family members have been pretty close to it!

Is this something we should be talking about?

I don't think vaginal dryness, hot flushes and breast pain are topics that most people like to talk about....well not in public anyway

Of course! But I was assuming that the OP wanted the BBC and other channels to discuss the serious issues around the menopause and periods.

Though I think he'll / she'll be waiting a long time....I seem to recall some time ago an female MP in the Commons, (could've been Clare Short or Harriet Harman), trying to have a serious debate about the price of sanitary towels. Typically some of the male MPs found the topic hilarious
