Many years ago, there used to be a nice African Restaurant in town, on Exchange Street. I think it was called the Frehiwet Habesha . I only went in there once, a long time ago, but it was lovely. I'm not even sure if it's still there, but if it is, this one may be worth a try.

I passed it this morning, so still there.

Hi there! Not sure if anyone will still check this thread, but do you know any other African restaurant apart from Frehiwet Habesha (that I tried and found really nice)? Thanks.

There is an Eritrean restaurant on the Wicker / Spital Hill but I don't know the name I'm afraid

Not Sheffield, but if you fancy something a bit different google Stella’s Kitchen. Stella hails from Cameroon and trades out of a farm house on the Foolow Road to Eyam, best accessed from Bradwell.

RE: Calahonda: yes, indeed, Stella's kitchen is a good one, I was there once and found the food excellent and the atmosphere friendly.

RE: MJ01: have you tried the Eritrean restaurant at the Wicker?

Thank you.

There was another African restaurant on the London Road if I am not mistaken. Anyone remembers that? When did they close?

Thanks
