There was an incredibly bad sitcom screened in the late 80s or early 90s starring Brian Glover. I think it was set in a mining village. Glover's character's frequently repeated catchphrase was: "God rest her soul in the cemetery". It was dire but can anyone remember the name of the series?

Used to like dustbinmen when I was a kid but you couldn't show half of them now.

It was Queenie Watts, I think she also starred with him in the caravan sit-com Romany Jones.

Just seen the awful Bottle Boys on that list which also starred Robin Asquith.

Cowboys with Colin Welland and Roy Kinnear was another turkey.

I think it was South of the Border broadcast in 1985. Glover played a Yorkshireman who had had to move to the South.

You've obviously never seen "Love thy Neighbour" from the 70s. It was massive then but watching it now makes you cringe. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B1dakp4FT0w

But the language used is spellbinding. Even tarentino would blush. We never had stuff like this in Germany. No wonder there's so many neo nazis in the UK.

Soap was absolutely dreadful. The foam runner of all things on dumbed down television now. Yes.
