Resident   1,193 #2 Posted September 27, 2015 Hi. So I don't get chucked out of being in the wrong group, how where do I advertise that those who were missold solar can claim their money back?  I'd advertise it nowhere tbh. With the brief search I did just now they're all just scams.  All the consumer sites that came up warned to stay well away.
 Share this content via...

5star   10 #4 Posted September 27, 2015 There's no scam. I've worked for companies who fudged figures and I was unaware until I sat with a crying customer. I looked into it and a lot of people don't realise they can actually claim back their money, even if the company no longer operates. I don't see how it can be perceived as a scam when it's helping the ripped off consumer.
 Share this content via...

Resident   1,193 #6 Posted September 27, 2015 stay away from solar or cmcs offering to help with claims for missold solar products?  Claims companies  http://www.theguardian.com/money/2014/oct/02/firm-pursue-claim-misselling-solar-panels  http://www.theguardian.com/money/2012/aug/24/mis-selling-ppi-claims-industry-targets-solar-panels  http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/dont-burned-again-new-solar-3447594  First three links that weren't any of the companies actually mentioned in the article. All on page 1 of Google when searched for.   PPI market is starting to dry up so these 'claims' companies are going after the next target.  Same as now that 'Accident' claims companies are now going after medical claims because companies and their insurers are now wise to them.
