Mazda mechanics

Can anyone recommend a mechanic that has good knowledge of Mazda cars apart from the dealerships ? Thank you !

My husband always takes his MX5 to High Bank Garage just off Loxley Road. 0114 2348879. They are very good.

I would second this. A work coligue of mine has had a few Mazda's and recommends Nick.

Seconded here. Comes across as totally honest and reliable. Changed a DPF on other half's Mazda 6, and saved us a fortune by manually removing the sensors off the old DPF and welding them onto the new one as it's the sensors where the costs are. Charged just £100 for over 2 hours of skilled welding work plus £500 for the parts, whereas the whole unit including sensors would have been £1500!

I've taken the car to him to check a small oil leak and he's had a look and said it'll fine for months so he'll take a closer look at MOT time, again with no charge.
