Strange object in the sky shiregreen

Recommended Posts

Woke up to my daughter high temp, opened all windows had lights off and curtains open. Whilst cooling my daughter down i saw 2 bright beam lights in the sky. Stood still for a while. I thort it was stars bit it then started to move closer. Could see a flashing light and the shape of it (triangular) it slowly went above the house and on its side with 3 faint flashing lights as it came over to the front of the house. I did get a picture and the picture is actually more clear than i saw with my own eye.

When I was living at the Wards Brewery complex in Sheffield, I would often see such similar sightings during the night from the balcony of those apartments. Particular the triangular one as aforementioned here usually with 3 red lights. Much of the craft was very silent in nature and would often move at a speed and direction that is not capable of known aircraft. Also, many silent drones are also often flying through the skies of Sheffield at night presumably recording footage for whatever purpose that may be. Certainly some very peculiar sightings, no doubt aircraft being tested in conjunction between British and American authorities that has not been revealed to us yet if ever it will ;)

Due over in about 10 minutes.

I'm pleased that it's still possible to see the ISS going over. I thought sightings wouldn't be possible until autumn/winter! I must remember to look out tonight, although it might be a but cloudy, we'll have to see! ☺

Hey!

Some of us are quite happy to have our intelligence insulted, thank you!

Each to their own Mr Bloke but I'm not keen on it. You do have to keep an open mind about these things and think logically, I totally agree with that but sometimes people aren't very creative with their explanations and insult your intelligence in the process. Some are genuinely trying to help like the ones suggesting the B2 and the satellites etc but helicopter and reflections of light fittings, really is suggesting that the OP is s buffoon, which they are clearly not! It's highly likely that the craft is a secret military one and not well known or not known at all, except to the authorities. As Tek no logic pointed out, there are those lights that have been seen that move erratically and with incredible speed not possible in Earth's atmosphere to us Earthlings, how these are crafts that are interesting and worthy of investigation, not just dismissed!

I know this topic is old news now but if anyone is interested, a friend on Facebook said that he saw this 'object' and got the binoculars on it. He said it looked very much like two large aircraft that seemed to be escorted by a much smaller one, he suspected could be a Typhoon escort. The large craft did not have flashing nav lights just 2 lights at the front facing forward. He suspected they could be the Russian bombers that have recently being invading our airspace.

Looks like a B2 to me,there has been a documentary on PBS channel about the B2.The engines are concealed to stop the heat from being spotted on radar and this also conceals its heat signature. When in stealth mode all external protrusions retract in to the body making it appear on radar the same size as a large bird.Even the windscreens have a thin plating of gold to reflect the radar. An amazing piece of engineering.Pretty sure any visiting interstellar craft would not have flashing lights on it giving its position away.

Spooky. The other day I saw a huge golden disk in the sky. It were so bright I couldn't even look at it. Definitely a UFO.

Its nothing like an helicopter.A B2 was flying that night which makes it likely that thats what it was.

how do you know it was a B2 ?

They're supposed to be invisible to radar, and very difficult to see with the naked eye, especially at night.

They have to fly at night with navigation lights on ,every aircraft as too. They only go into stealth mode and turn their lights off when over enemy territory. Here have a read up about the B2 aircraft.
