"You've taken it out too early - you've only toasted one side!" Turned out that she knew....she has always only toasted one side. I've never come across this before! Have you?! lectrolove   10 #3 Posted December 31, 2017 If I'm making cheese on toast I'll toast one side, flip it over then put the cheese on the untoasted side before popping it back under the grill. Other wise toast is done in the toaster on both sides. But ... we have a new toaster! It's one of those that you can see all the way through and watch your toast browning.
