sskirrrow   10 #1 Posted December 12, 2012 As anyone got any nice and sweet recipes for using Medlars... Removed them from the tree where I work yesterday and am currently 'Bletting' them. Never used them before but thought I would give them a try.  Thanks  SS
 Share this content via...
happyaslarry   13 #2 Posted December 3, 2017 Anyone else found medlars in Sheffield? I have found a tree but I'm not saying where https://wp.me/p5wFIX-Z5
 Share this content via...
FIRETHORN1 Â Â 58 #3 Posted December 5, 2017 I've hunted high and low for a Medlar tree but never found one. I live in London and earn my living as a Grounds Maintenance gardener, yet I've never come across a Medlar in any of the housing estates, parks or "green spaces" I've worked in over the last few years. A colleague of mine has found one. He's very smug about this find - and just like HappyasLarry - he too won't reveal where it is! Â What is it with all the secrecy HappyasLarry? Are these Medlar trees incredibly rare or summat? I must admit that I'd never even heard of 'em until about 5 years ago and I've been looking for them ever since..... to no avail, so far!
