Nova - http://www.myspace.com/subnovaband

NOVA have perfected a big-guitar rock sound that fills the room with awesome tones. 'Severance' is tight, powerful and able to break the sound apart to create moments of delicacy amongst the giant guitar driven sections. 'Kerosene Girl' is a grunge-ified smouldering landscape with seriously driving bass guitar and 'Black Soul Monday' is a great opportunity for the band to let rip with the big guitars. It's a bit more edgy for 'Arms Wide Open', more riffy and alternative than the other three tracks, but still an awesome track. It has a solo that sounds like Bushbaby's 'Space Corps' and a chorus that could tear up your speakers. Sub Nova is a dream combination of a really tight and powerful band with a seriously good singer” –http://www.intomusic.co.uk

"It's easy to imagine NOVA filling stadiums. They're tight, polished and deliver a huge sound. Their blistering set is over way too soon" -Jane Kitson, BBC Raw Talent South Yorkshire

“Gaining admirers with every gig they play. It’s easy to see why with their radio-friendly hard rock revolution sound that they are one of the best new rock bands around right now" -www.soundaloud.com

Review from a unknown source in Leicester:

"his five piece band from Sheffield is amazing; probably not everyone's choice but musically their set was a virtuoso tour de force. Rooted in the idioms of Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin, the band put on a masterful set of astounding songs. Their music is strong and heavy, with unusually long pieces, often displaying complex solo passages from various band members, including a spectacular solo by master drummer Ashley Tuck. Harry Sadler is a vocalist with considered presence and style and the songs drove forward with passion and energy. Their songs are memorable and absorbing, often big, grand, storming pieces, coloured with scintillating guitar work and massive drum beats."
